“Cumulonimbus”

Watercolor

As my family was driving through our neighborhood in June of last summer, I looked up to see some of the fullest, fluffiest clouds I had ever laid eyes on. When we got home, I frantically ran through my neighborhood with my dad’s camera to take a picture of the sky through the opening in the street beside mine. I was inspired to paint the immensity of the cloud and the adrenaline from running. The type of cloud I painted is called “Cumulonimbus,” which usually indicates rain and storms.
