“In this artwork I've depicted the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of covid 19 and to 'flatten the curve.’ Most of the precautionary measures right from washing our hands, practicing social distancing (instead of shaking hands we can do 'namaskar') wearing face masks to consuming healthy food and green vegetables have been included in my artwork. Through my artwork I've also paid tribute to the frontline warriors (the paramedics, nurses, police personnel, etc.) who are risking their lives to protect us from this deadly virus. I've also shown how we can break the chain of infection by working from home and by doing our classes from home. I've tried to create adequate awareness regarding COVID 19 through my artwork.”

“Environmental degradation & climate change are some of the largest threats that are being looked at in the world today. The United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction characterizes environmental degradation as the lessening of the limit of the earth to meet social and environmental destinations and needs. Ban Ki Moon rightly said ‘saving our planet, lifting people out of poverty, advancing economic growth… These are one and the same fight. Solutions to one problem must be solutions for all.’ In my artwork I've depicted how the lives of the animals are getting affected due to environmental degradation and climate change . With an increase in the number of Industries and factories, there is also an increase in the level of pollution which is one of the main reasons behind global warming. Due to climate change the glaciers at both the poles have started to melt which has resulted into 'Habitat Crisis' for the animals like polar bears etc. The hands in my painting represent hope... The hope of a brighter future where all the animals could live in harmony. In my artwork I've tried to focus on such aspects.”
